Favorite Band: Meneguar
God, Meneguar is so fuckin' sweet. Totally my new favorite band. Sitting somewhere between Archers Of Loaf and Superchunk, with a little Pavement thrown in, they totally capture the lost and lazily vocalized sound of the Indie ROCK boom in the nineties. All the songs beg to be sung along to, and they're all nice dudes. I think ya'll should go see them on their next tour and buy stuff of theirs. They just signed to Troubleman, who re-released their EP, originally pressed on Magic Bullet Records.
It's hot shit. David Goldberg and I went to Richmond just to see them, and they played tonight at the house next door to mine. SO GOOD.
