brad [email] said at 4:50 PM 04-24-2008:
Nice.

Those seats look like high school auditorium seats. Seems like NBC would splurge a little bit.
anthony [email] said at 5:11 PM 04-24-2008:
Apparently they did at one time, but when NBC had their own network ratings depression in the early nineties, they started filling in the audiences with vagrants and tweekers and consequently, they could not get certain stains or odors out of the seats, which is why they reverted back to old cheapy ones that are easily cleaned or replaced.

julie [email] said at 8:21 PM 04-24-2008:
OMG, I was watching last night and I kept looking at that girl thinking, "Wow, she really looks like Carla!!! ...Aww, hee hee look how she keeps looking up at the monitor and seeing herself on tv behind the Eurotrash actor!"
julie [email] said at 8:24 PM 04-24-2008:
(I was trying to watch cuz Radiohead was the musical guest, but it was wayy past my bedtime and then I decided I didn't want to see them in case they do the same stuff at the concert in 2 wks)
carla [email] said at 8:59 PM 04-24-2008:
aw man..you noticed i kept looking up at the monitor! DOH!! It's really hard to not look at yourself!!!!
julie [email] said at 9:19 PM 04-24-2008:
It was cute! I'm sure I would've been doing the same thing. The funniest thing was that the whole time I was just like, "Huh, wow, some girl in New York is like, Carla's long lost twin! I should tell her..."
angele [email] said at 8:42 PM 04-24-2008:
Someone told me I'd see you and I watched Conan til this scene. I was going to text you, but promptly crashed out because, like Julie, it was past my bedtime. Is that Chris next to you?
angele [email] said at 8:43 PM 04-24-2008:
Of course, when I say "you" I'm talking to the illustrious Carla, not Ben, even though this is his post.
carla [email] said at 8:57 PM 04-24-2008:
    Yup! That's Chris.

Also, we were all sooo beyond stoked that Radiohead was the guest but then we found out they were being broadcast from London so it was like..."oh." It was still awesome tho'
john [email] said at 12:20 AM 04-25-2008:
I'm curious. When they do those skits where some actor is siting in the audience talking to Conan, does the real audience know this before hand? Like do they bring the actor in and sit him/her there before the scene or is he/she sitting there the whole time and surprises everyone like they make it out to seem.
carla [email] said at 9:05 AM 04-25-2008:
A crew person comes out before the show and explains what's going on and says "Hey, we're gonna need this seat for a skit we're doing and when it's over, you can sit back down" so they swipe the person and replace them with an actor right before the skit starts.
ed [email] said at 1:48 AM 04-25-2008:
That's so cool! Yer all like, famous now.
jake [email] said at 11:44 AM 04-25-2008:
What are those things on his fingers? Lollipops? Superballs?
carla [email] said at 11:52 AM 04-25-2008:
They were supposed to be eco friendly, stickless lollipops (in blood orange and mulberry).

You can watch the video online at the NBC/Conan site!
reggie [email] said at 11:21 AM 04-28-2008:
Dangit! I tried to record this episode but I got nothing!
