you wanted the best, you got the best.

joe & me. anthony, brad, me.
chuck. sami & joshua.

Last friday a variety of us were at the Black Cat for Pig Destroyer/Misery Index/the Wayward and the Sorted/Taxlo/Hot Chip party (click on that blue stuff for more pictures). It was awesome to hang hard with Anthony and Carla, who I don't see nearly enough, PLUS get to hang out with Chuck and see Angie and other DC people. Good fucking times. We ended up back at Carla's boyfriends house where Anthony and myself proceeded to get rowdy. I vaguely remember saying I would spit on Chris' roommates if they were home. Gladly, they were not.

In the morning, we got up and went to Wonderland at Sami's urging. Apparently the brunch there is really good. Unfortunately... they no longer serve brunch, so we ate nachos and chili dogs. The food so profoundly affected Anthony, he laid down on a homeless person's couch, then vomited copiously in a playground in front of children playing. None of them noticed.

This night was seriously so much fun!
I'm so glad we got to hangz.
I still don't think I've completely detoxed from the night entirely though...I forget I'm gettin' old and can't party like Carla of 5 years ago.

Also, could you relay a message to Sami that I think she left a necklace at Chris's...I have it for her but I don't know how to contact her.

This was by far one of the more intense hangs I've had in recent memory.

  • Firstly, I'd like to tip my cap to Chuck
  • I woke up in a room full of South Carolina regalia, which was really confusing and only made for what would become the longest day
  • I threw up in front of a bunch of kids as Josh said, but there was nothing that could have allowed me to avoid displaying that come-uppance
  • I didn't drink for almost a week after this
  • This ruled

Apparently there is a video of Brad and I dancing? There are many gaps in the night, which only makes it all the more interesting of a story to tell, especially since I called my roommates to come get me on Saturday but then was unable to answer the phone well into the afternoon due to being in a surreal state almost like lucid dreaming.
