Miscegenation is beautiful

People say mixed-race babies are the most beautiful of all. I dunno; I find most babies ugly. Mixed race couples, though, are beautiful to my eye. The combinations of colors and tones, curves and contours, makes me happy at a deep level. I get a similar happy feeling from seeing butch and femme lesbians, and for some reason, people decked out in swingers outfits. The good news is that I live in Oakland, where there are a lot of couples that fall into each of these categories, especially the first one.

The bad news is, when I'm wandering around the city and see a happy, lovely couple, I get anxious about it. How would they know that I'm staring because they're so heart-warming, not because I've got a bigoted axe to grind. Most of the people I know who have been in a mixed race couple say they get hassled a little, and stared at rudely a lot.

How do you balance indulging your asthetic fascinations with the potential creep-out factor of your gaze?

What racial mixes do you like best? I'm currently digging a Tall dapper Persion and a short Jewess who wears 1980's dresses and belts. I know them, so it's a little easier to get away with drinking them in.

I admit to being a big-time people watcher. A glassy-eyed stare in their general direction is the best I can get at deception

Somehow, I think a glassy-eyed stare is no better a defense against bigotry than a slack jaw...

I said I am a people watcher. Why would that make me a bigot?
jake [email] said at 2:40 PM 11-07-2007:
You didn't--I was applying your deception tactic to my situation and saying it wouldn't work for me.

If they catch you staring, run up to them, embrace them, and begin to make little circular movements with your hips. Mammals love that.

Me, I've got a think for Jewish girls. Not exactly miscegenation. Though I have, and dig it, and dig it when other people are miscegenates.

Any kind of person can be ugly and any kind of person can be pretty.

Maybe you have seen some ugly persons of multiracial stock. But what about Kelly Hu? Is she ugly? How about Q'Orianka Kilcher? Or Halley Berry? Jessica Alba looks good as a brunette.

And of course, there is always Ms. Rosario Dawson.

I have heard of those who think the Rock is good-looking. And there are those who think Keanu Reeves is hot.

Kelly, Q'Orianka, and Halle are beautiful. Jessica Alba, to me, looks like a baby, which is to say, ugly.

I agree that an infantile appearance is unbecoming on an adult but aside from her on the Good Luck Chuck photographs, when has she ever looked like a baby? Even there she just looks like a fourteen-year-old.

It is fun to appraise others by appearance.

brandon [email] said at 1:18 AM 11-06-2007:
Naw, put Kelly Hu is some less ridiculous threads and she looks like an asian Tori Spelling.
brandon [email] said at 2:59 PM 11-06-2007:
Even though Shauna swears she isn't, she must be miscegenated... cause's she's so pretty... like a girl.
