This is from someone who has refused/disdained therapy for many more years than one would expect that it would have been needed.
I'm good at pretending to be okay, to most people. The few who see through my bullshit job are rare, or, except for one particular person that comes to mind, non-existent. Lots of people have called me on the bullshitting, but only one has poked through the "what" to even approach the "why".
And since I still haven't quite grasped the extent of "why", I'm just (as they say in billiards) "hopin' and pokin'."
