How much do you pay for water and sewage each billing period, and how many months is that for?
Also, how many people live in your house?

I posted this on the board already, since there are a high concentration of MD residents on there.
ed [email] said at 5:28 PM 03-09-2005:
I pay a fixed $30 a month, built into my rent. I am the only human in my apartment. I am getting ripped off, but there's nothing I can do about it... except not feeling guilty for not having them come replace my toilet, which has been doing the constant slow-run for at least 6 months.
ed [email] said at 5:35 PM 03-09-2005:
Err, not replace the whole toilet, just the clapper thingy.

$1.99 will fix that. along with a kitchen knife and 5 minutes

Oh, I know. But it's slow enough not to annoy me, plus, this way I may actually get my $30 worth. haha!

We would all be thrilled at the Farm, if we each had to pay only $30/month.
myriam [email] said at 5:52 PM 03-09-2005:
I rent with 3 others, there is another apt upstairs in the house with 6 people in it, and we don't have to pay for water and sewage in the house.

on the other hand, our gas bill is astronomical.
myriam [email] said at 5:52 PM 03-09-2005:
actually it's sort of standard to include water and sewage in boston. i don't know a single renter who pays them. they often include heat up here too, depending...
brandon [email] said at 6:21 PM 03-09-2005:
You should also check to see if MD bundles trash-pickup with sewage and water - many municipalities do, and that can bump up the cost.

Or it could be all those wetbacks in college park conspiring to flush out the gringos...
myriam [email] said at 6:32 PM 03-09-2005:
our sewage in pittsburgh was $30 for the whole house and it was quarterly I believe.
loren [email] said at 5:01 AM 03-10-2005:
You guys have a leak. Get that shit fixed.
meredith [email] said at 10:31 AM 03-10-2005:
I have never paid for sewage/water. I mean, I'm sure it's always built into my rent, but I've never had the breakdown.
julie [email] said at 10:35 AM 03-10-2005:
Water/Sewer is somewhere around... $15-20 a month for the whole house, I think. (3 residents who don't bathe or do laundry terribly often. No dishwasher, either.)
