drunk at the xmas party

whoops middle of the afternoon xmas party and i had a lot of wine and now i am on the internet at work not doing work being drunk. who else got drunk at their xmas parties? did the xmas parties even happen yet? yo holler i am afraid to leave work because if i try to ride my bike right now i would probably veer off into traffic and die someone come meet me at big hunt for half price burgers. word? word.

We had a Holiday Luncheon today, and there's another one Friday, and we also had a Holiday Ruth's Chris Steakhouse Lunch last week.

Alcohol was not served at any of them.

I can't... I have to go home and make candy and cranberry sauce for my stupid office Potluck Luncheon on Friday. I'd do it tomorrow night, but I've got the Galaxy Hut staff party and dinner with the bosses at my 3rd job. So tonight I'm West Winging it and using a candy thermometer. Woo!

I got drunk at a corporate chiristmas part and then went to an afterparty with my boss. At the afterparty, I made out with another co-worker in front of my boss.

I went to one Christmas party at Meredith Corp. It was kind of ... weird because they made everyone who had been hired that year participate in the Christmas Skit. This irked me. Then everyone leaped on me to do something cool for our skit because I was an actor. So I suggested we make fun of everyone who didn't have to do the stupid skit. We made it like a news report and took sneaky pictures of everyone and stuff. Everyone thought it was the best Christmas skit ever. But I did not get drunk.

I had a Christmas party at the restaurant I bartended at last year. I tried to get drunk, but for some reason I failed.

This year I work with two guys. We're going out to lunch tomorrow for our Christmas party. I have to pick the restaurant. I'll probably at least catch a buzz.
