I was drilling a 7-year-old who has trouble pronouncing the "ch" sound. I showed him pictures of cheese, a chin, a cheek, a check, etc. and he had to say the words out loud. I got to a picture of chalk and he said emphatically "cocaine!!"
angele [email] said at 2:42 PM 10-19-2004: Yeah. Today was still a really good day, though. Parents wrote me nice letters (hearing anything at all from parents makes my day). Most of my kids behaved. I feel like I've won over all my kids. Now I just have to sneak in some speech and language therapy when they think they are just goofing off.
