blue rodeo is funny

well hello again range rovers! i am again connected to the internet, at a whopping 3 cents a minute, because i live too far out int he sticks to get anything better. fair enough. revenge comes in the worst of ways, even on yahoo BB.

i was in america at christmas, and yes, it is late in the game to fill your heads with petty stories of the treachery that is your country but, let me say that after a bout with food poisoning and red-neck bar-hopping, i was so happy to get back to the land of tea and kanji that i leaned my head back and breathed deeply of good old fashioned tokyo air pollution and exhaled a sigh of relief.

ill not clutter the front page, but retire to my journal to complain.

p.s. lost in translation is trite, so say my sources. don't believe what you see folks. esp. when bill murray is involved.

I don't know if Lost In Translation was an accurate depiction, but it was a fun movie to watch. And Scarlet Johansen (or however you spell her name) is beautiful.

your sources say lost in translation is trite? well then your sources fucking suck.

lost in translation is fucking AWESOME. don't even try to bitch at me about how inaccurate the film is about japan. if so then you have to tell me that every single movie that ever takes place in new orleans is a complete and utter piece of shit.

and a lot of films that take place in new york for that matter, or dc, san francisco, la...

lost in translation is a movie about two people who meet each other at a time in their lives when they don't know who they are or where they will go next. it is a great movie and the soundtrack was masterfully put together by kevin shields. that alone is enough for me to say that your sources are a bunch of idiots. not to mention the amazing cinematography.

but what am i saying? if you honestly think everything bill murray has been involved in is shit than you are beyond hope.

It made me think about those odd, disjointed times you meet people and the timing's not right...but it's as right as it was ever gonna get. You just enjoy the short time. It sucks afterward but you just keep the memories...photographs if you're lucky.
