I found a small cache of Jenaset stickers. Email me your address if you want one, but you have to be someone who actually knows who the Jenaset is and you have to prove that in some way in the email (unless I would obviously know you know who they are, i.e. you were in the band).

evan [email] said at 1:48 PM 08-22-2003: that party was the shit! it got really fucked up at the end of the night when heather and nathan showed up to do their planned out brittany spears dance routine and ray was fucking his girlfriend in the back room while she was screaming like a banshee...
i tongued anna dreason at midnight that night!
jared fucked over most of baton rouge and moved to richmond and now after fucking over most of richmond is moving back to new orleans.... i bumped into him in RVA when i was visiting a few weeks ago.

So depressing.
Good, original music will never perservere here because everyone always wants to hear the same old shit...
Except that I've notice the kids are getting hipper. So maybe I'm wrong. Maybe when the young kids grow up and can get into bars, things will change. Maybe.
Maybe not.
andy [email] said at 11:11 PM 08-24-2003: Forget the bars. Someone needs to do some house shows again. For about a year Kurt and Craig were doing some awesome shows at 829 Louisiana. But, of course, it all came to an end when they moved. I think that it inspired some good local music to start happening, it just needs to keep going.
Randy [ url ] said at 9:43 AM 08-25-2003: Damn, I didn't even know they'd moved... must've been really recently.
Steve Jacobsen recently opened a place called The Beauty School, which has all ages shows. The only problem is that the last show I heard of happening there (Dance Disaster Movement, The Blood Brothers, and some others) got shut down for fire hazard reasons. So I don't know if they fixed that or not. But it was cool cuz the show ended up happening at some friends' house, and it was pretty awesome. Too bad they moved and can no longer have house shows there.
