Don't know where to post this so sorry to put it here Cricket. I need some N.O. advice here and fast. If you had a choice of seeing a show at either the State Palace Theatre or the Riverboat
Cajun Queen which would you choose and why? Oh and has anyone ever been to the TwiRoPa Live Room? How is it? Thanks you guys. I'm just trying to get my Jazz Fest plans in order.

I would go to state palace, but I've never been to the riverboat cajun queen. state palace has personality and lots of memories for me.

i would agree with emily. and i too have never been to the riverboat cajun queen, but it doesn't sound as promising as the state palace.

the state palace is bound to be nicer than a riverboat, and when you get out, you'll be right next to the french quarter.

Oooh. It depends on the bands. My friend hooked me up with free tickets to see some bands I don't really like on the river boat. Even thouI wasn't interested in the bands, I had lots of fun. Instead of watching the bands that played on different levels, stood out on the balconey as the boat went up river to baton rouge and back. I got to see all the crazy plants that looked like somthing out of Mario Bros. They shot out bright yellow-green flames. I think the river boat experience is way cooler. By far.

I haven't been, but i heard that twiropa was nice. it's in an old factory building so it's really big. if you go to the website http://www.twiropa.com/ and click on tour, you can get an idea of the space.
