jeff [email] said at 1:09 PM 01-14-2003: A couple of years ago, my 1974 Advent Videobeam projector shorted out, perhaps due to depression. Rather than test for a specific capacitor in the power supply that failed, I'm replacing all of 'em. I guess to a few people this sounds nuts, but 30 year old capacitors won't do anyone any good.
Brandon should remember the big Norleco Shaver-like thing that was in my bedroom when he visited.
The Orange Slice is part of a concoction that I put in my shower head to dye my hair. It's really complicated and takes 3 hours to work.

jeff [email] said at 1:12 AM 01-15-2003: I haven't lived there since you moved to Chicago, but it didn't travel with me until about a year ago. Everyone gives me hell about it being in the middle of my living room, but they'll apologize once they're playing Pac-Man on the 7' screen.

jeff [email] said at 12:52 AM 01-16-2003: I finally found my manual and scanned it into a 20Mb PDF file with a little help from Minolta's Di750 (600dpi).
The above post was the results of a friend's search through her father's capacitor bin. Now I have the actual ratings I need and am about to hit DigiKey or Mouser.

It's the choice for output capacitors in high temperature and military power supplies." - CDE
