killoggs rookie ramblings

Six ways to make people like you (dale carnegie.. yo!)

1. Become genuinely interested in other people.
2. Smile.
3. Remember that a person's name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.
4. Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
5. Talk in terms of the other person's interests.
6. Make the other person feel important - and do it sincerely.

*Bonus* submit newspaper cut/paste ramblings and start killoggs bad poetry contest.

hey... i was born in new jersey. however, my family moved to alaska when i was in 2nd grade and i grew up in anchorage. i lived in alaska for twenty years, so i guess i would say i'm from there. in 1997 i moved to baltimore/dc area.

Kevin is kind of crazy, but ina good way. He always IMs me with these weird ideas I never would have thought of.

Kevin and I always intend to meet up at shows and other events but it doesn't happen enough.

Way to go, Kevin. I like this post.

Kevin, do you think salespeople all over the world have taken Carnegie's #3 too seriously? I do, Kevin. My name is less sweet, Kevin, when it's every other freaking word in a sales pitch. But maybe that's just me. :).
