Last night I was woken from sleep by cold water that was poured onto my stomach. As the water quickly seeped onto the bed and under my back, I yelped and opened my eyes for signs of a culprit. Only an empty glass clutched by my right hand was visible.
I told my co-worker this story, and she shared with me her experience of moving a dresser in her sleep. What was especially odd was that she had tried to move the dresser the day before, but was unable to because of the heaviness of it. But somehow, she had the strength to do it in her sleep.
What odd things have you done while you were asleep?

...
When I was a child, I used to sleepwalk. I stood on a chair and unlactched a set of patio doors and actually started wading in the shallow end of a pool until my uncle grabbed ne and shook me awake.
During that time, I would also be found in various states of sleep trying to brush my teeth.
scott [email] said at 7:40 PM 12-12-2002: i used to sleepwalk, too. one year at summer camp i woke up somewhere in the santa cruz mountains - i/d apparently wandered away from our camp in my sleep.
anyway, i was picked up by this strange couple who kidnapped me and forced me to smuggle grapefruits filled with the gold teeth of victims of east coast-west coast hip hop violence. usually i/d have to deliver the goods to canada.
either that, or i just woke up confused and wandered around in the pitch black woods until i accidentally stepped on a counselor. either way, it was scary, and i nearly peed myself.

One night my mom must have heard me because she came to talk to me. She was only whispering, but every time she spoke, I had to cover my ears.
I always wondered if anybody else experienced this...
brianbibbly [email] said at 10:20 AM 12-14-2002: Yeah, I got that right before I developed my 'spidey-sense'.
Lay off the egg-nog Woody. . . 'snicker snicker'!
No face here said at 11:58 AM 12-13-2002: Once I was dreaming I was brushing my teeth and right when I woke up I spit all over myself, or I dream I'm talking on the phone and when I wake up I'm taking into my hand. I do that a lot. No more slow gin fizzes before bed for me.

I had to pee really bad so I snuck down this alley and squated and peed. John woke me up because I was squating on the bed peeing. A LOT. We laughed about it. I guess I am 4 months late on my response.

I've had the piss thing too...I think most of us have.
I have a LOT of dreams about intercourse with women and when I wake up I often (at least for a little while) can't tell the difference between dream and reality.
