There may possibly be a Transit strike in NYC beginning Monday, December 16th. If this strike does happen, it's going to get alot crazier around here.

we're thinking of changing the elevator voice at work, just so we don't get nastalgic.

Instead of "Seventh Floor," we'll have it say, "Transfers are available for the..1..9....Please stand clear of the closing doors."

hey.. that atlantic avenue stop is a fuckin' hole. how long has it been that way? it is like a crazy maze of muddy trails with signs taped to the walls..hahah...and this weekend there was the added ambience of machine gun totin' military types. i told them to "rock on". they seemed to like that.

    the atlantic avenue stop is just a hole. there's just like a tunnel dug out through the dirt connecting the north track from the south track.

    the military is probably there to make sure terrorists don't show up with some supersoakers and water balloons to start a cave in.

    as i've mentioned before, the military is all the way up at 168th st, too. of course, someone told me there was some sort of incident at that stop...
