What's it been, like 9 days?

I got everything "fixed" on the 10th. I know I didn't catch everything they told me when I left of the 11th. OK, so I got some of it. Like staying bandaged for a week. I sorta kept evrything tight for 5 days, maybe 6. I was supposed to get 100g of protein a day. I haven't even gotten close. So I called the doc's people and they told me I'm healing slow and still swollen because my diet's poor. I can only take so much protein/malt/milkshakes a day before I can't consume anymore, until I'm tired. Medecine burns my stomach, fair enough, I just keep chugging on. I know...I have a fever and I am weak, and that I spend 90% of my waking time trying to urinate, drink water, take medicine and keep the cat away from my face. Today, I couldn't stand up. So Lulu's getting boarded for at least a week as Michelle is running off to Miami again for another week (work-related this time...sheesh). I need t be able to move freely and not have to watch my step, get clawed or get slashed in the face. I'm Lulu's mother. I just can't be her momma right now. I'm already off my timetable for returning to work (a day late and not even close to being in decent shape enough to work).

The strangest damn thing? I woke up, throat clogging with vomit, head bandaged together, sweating and coughing. I'd thrown up in my sleep, woke up in time to catch myself, take the soaked bandgages off, clear the airway and head back to bed. Michelle helped in feeding me today. I haven't eaten that well since the hospital. I think both Michelle and I figured I'd go home stay in odoors and just, heal quick like Wolverine. I was wrong, she was wrong. Tomorrow, I make light of this by bandaging and going to the mall, drinking as many milkshakes as humanly possinle.

This is all WAY too much information. Enough with the constant updates already.

I don't think it's that much, Craig, That's as graphic as I get, anyway. You want the psycho version?

I don't care what you have to do, get that protein! If the doctor thinks the slow healing is from a poor diet, improve it--life's too short to spend this much time getting well :).

The end result is...I have to get a CPAP.

If only I'd done what Ed did.
