This trip has been so fun. I come home tomorrow, and I miss my friends in D.C., too, so I'm glad to be heading back but it's of course bittersweet. This trip was a lot more fun for me than the last one, I saw so many more of my friends and it went a lot more smoothly. We all went and saw Fugazi, I stayed with Evan for 3 days, I saw a lot more of Evan this time than last which helped make it fun. I love that kid, and Michele is pretty awesome too. I randomly encounter one of my oldest and best friends, also named Michelle. She emailed me randomly out of the blue to tell me she had moved to New Orleans, so I called 411, got her number and we hung out.
This trip was full of stuff like that - like running into Angele outside of Fugazi.
I had a lot of fun, I'm gonna miss La. I love my friends, you should all move to DC, or at least NYC or Philly. The Northeast corridor, it's where it's at.

Can't believe them bitches towed the car away claiming that the piece of dilapidated sidwalk in front of their house was their "driveway." As my father said ,"that there is no more a driveway than the man in the moon!"
I considered having my father to drop me off at The Club/Miss Mae's after we retrieved the car from the pound, but I couldn't bring myself to ask. It's strange remembering that I had no problems asking the old man to drop me off at a bar when I was fifteen. Now at the more womanish age of 22, I feel ashamed even though it would not have been a big deal.

Every time that I go there, he tells me to come see his band Brother wherever they are playing. Wish I would have seen this earlier that you were in BR, I'd have rounded up a few people to meet at the Chimes or something.
