I ate escargot for the first time last night at this restaurant where the maitre d' looked like a cross between Angelle and Panacea. They came in a special dish with a snail to every pit. They are now my new favorite food. I have had an aversion to eating snails for years, because they crawl around on the ground, but then I realized that they are raised and fed lettuce and wheat flour, which is alot better than whatever all of the crawfish and freshwater bivalve mollusks eat. When I was in Bolivia I did not eat a sheep head, but I sat next to a grandmother feeding one to her grandaughter. I've been intentionally eating exotic things, but I don't think I'll ever try any part of an animal's head, that just seems too savage. I'm sure Brian Fellows would agree. I just bought the Modjo CD and I totally recommend it.
Love,
Nathan
