something to do

Today, I bought an easel, a canvas, and a boom box for the extra room in my house that I'm turning into my studio. I'm ready! I should have taken an inventory on my painting supplies before I went shopping today -- I'm sure I'll discover that I'm missing some things I need. Now I can't complain that I have nothing to do. I plan on having a show at the Whitney in a few months, so keep your eyes open, East Coasters!

I just took an inventory of my supplies. I have no brushes! Not a single one! I have no idea what happened to them. Good brushes ain't cheap either.

Yikes! If I had my brushes around still, I'd send them too you, but they've long since been donated.

I brought a cylinder of pretty crappy brushes at Utrecht for $14.95. There are 30 ones, all exactly the same. They are kinda sucky, but I like the fact I can just throw them away when they get too worn.

I have a Utrecht catalog, but I didn't bother to look through it for any of the stuff I needed. I'm just too anxious! My time is way too valuable these days, and waiting for it to come in the mail, even for just a week, would be too long.

Yeah, I'm tired of putting things off for financial reasons. So I just said, what the hell. I'd NEVER get anything started if I kept using the money excuse. I actually do have somewhat of a financial cushion, so I'm not really worried.
