josh

have a happy holiday.

Merry Christmas, or whatever winter-time holiday you may or may not subscribe to. I'm back in Baton Rouge, which is at once fun and sad. I'm glad to be able to spend time with my friends, but it's weird realizing how a lot will be gone next year.

Oh well, family is what's important, and I get to hang out with them- not to mention hang out with Evan, Loren, James, Neale, Clay, etc... And see Deanna and Kaycee before they move to the far east... And go Christmas shopping with Andrew late last night (you wouldn't believe the lines).

All in all, it's been a nice Christmas so far. I hope Kara, Erica, Ben and Angele are having fun in New Orleans, too. I'm sure they are. I hear they've been having lots of fun, hanging out with Jeff G.

K, time to hang out with the family again.

Josh, make sure Ben leaves my camera with Adam Helltone. Or at least, the very least, takes it with him to D.C. so I can get him to mail it back to me in TX.

Josh, I'm glad to hear you're back in town I read about the Maxwell feelings you've been having...

You can have Klondike! (He definitely misses you -- you and your subway wrappers you used to leave in the trash -- it's not the same without you!) Seriously though, I think even for things that drive you nuts, time away from them makes you want them back just because you miss them driving you nuts.

Coming back down here after you've been gone a while is hard because you try to cram so many people in such a sort period of time, and you have the best time with them and then you just get to miss them all over again when you leave. Good luck -- that was never easy for me when I lived away either.

Congratulations on the new job -- It sounded like it would be exciting for you -- I knew you would make the final cut!

Take care and enjoy the rest of your holiday down here.

-- Czarina
