Jeff said at 4:03 AM 06-02-2001: I heard from Meredith tonight. She & Brandon arrived in Chicago late this evening and both seem to be happy with the apartment. Kudos to Linus for helping them out and being available along the way.
It was pretty strange today (friday). I went out to the Chimes to bid a friend I knew for 15 years goodbye, left early, and stopped by Foster to tinkle and make a couple phone calls. Then I realized the rest of the evening was empty, so I looked at some charcoal drawings and walked back to my car not knowing quite what to do. I'm going to have to get used to no longer spending my evenings with Meredith.
I would cry if it was me.
I've only cried several times in the past 15 years. This was one of them.
mary said at 5:22 PM 06-02-2001: We will be. Next week when you're here. When I am only scheduled to work two days. I only work two days a week for the rest of June. Sheesh. Why won't they just lay me off and let me live in Mexico off my unemployment checks and union buyout deal until the economy recovers?
