Here's another post test. Josh just used the phrase "rock-block" on his show. For those of you who noticed or care, I managed to keep my job by the most unethical situation. My kids forged my name and wrote up a fake absentee slip -in cases when you've forgotten to sign in, this is how the office knows if a teacher is present or not - later when the office called to ask why I had not signed in one of my students impersonated me and told them that I would sign in later in the day, after classes. What can you do? The current blackmail is set at 10percent of my salary. In a way I guess they *earned* it.
t-girl said at 3:25 AM 03-07-2001: yeah, they did earn it but don't give it to them-that'll just increase their demanding power in the future (now that there is one.) what were you doing anyway? how is teaching high school? i have some ridiculous and retarded stories from teaching mostly college freshmen (only a year's difference from high school.)ahhh, the things students say in class when they're just learning a language and don't give a rat's ass about studying...

Sometimes its highly rewarding, other times I want to become violent with them. I spend more time teaching them English (to gifted students, no less!) than I do teaching them Latin.

into a beautiful-better-than-the-salon-bronzed look.

They weren't doing you a favor...make sure you flunk those anti-american lawbreakers so you can put them through hell next year.
Brandon said at 3:35 PM 03-07-2001: But I'm not going to be back next year... And I want to believe that they did what they did out of genuine respect and admiration. I guess somewhere, way down in the recesses of my coal-black heart lies the semblance of a rousseau-populist. I want to believe, oh golly-gee I want to believe!
