The Kills @ the Ottobar



Monday I saw the Kills play at the Ottobar. It was my first time seeing them, and I was actually pretty impressed... I didn't know what to expect but they were good live, though Alison seemed like she was about to collapse towards the end... understandable honestly, given how much she was rocking out. Last weekend I checked out Ratatat & Panther at Sonar... Click here for the full set. I wasn't really impressed with Ratatat too much but the crowd LOVED it.

Saturday I shot Girl Talk aka Greg Gillis at Sonar. It was... insane. I've never seen so many teens in one place before. Click here for the set... I think these two shots sort of illustrate both aspects of Girl Talk as I see it...

I got in a car wreck:



My car is dead. I have been in a rental for like a month! My GEICO check just cleared and I want to get a new car this week! more of the car (friends only).
