Okay, so some time ago, Saturday Night Live did a parody of the season finale of the OC in which some guy gets shot and at the moment of the shooting they play this Imogen Heap song over his dramatic and drawn out death scene. In the SNL spoof (which is brilliant) characters repeatedly shoot each other and each time they do, the Imogen Heap song plays.
In fact, why explain? I'm sure most of you have seen this already but for those that haven't, enjoy:
Now this spoof inspired a series of parodies all over YouTube with people using clips from 300, The Departed, Reservoir Dogs, Lord of the Rings all to varying levels of success.
You had to know that somewhere along the line those twin devils of Bad Taste and Poor Judgment would rear their ugly heads. Last night I stumbled upon a *ahem* SEPTEMBER 11TH Dear Sister "parody." This morning I found a VIRGINIA TECH SHOOTING "parody." However, the thing that was even more disturbing were the comments that viewers posted in response. People actually found this amusing!!!
If you go the comments section of the video somebody actually posted this response: "Sorry for the 30 deaths or whatever but this was hilarious."
this article may be proof of a global warming trend heretofore unseen in the geologic record. i realize up until now we have just been poking at rocks found in the antarctic ice and overanalyzing satelite data in an effort to paint a clearer picture of what is going on with the planet. the electric car may have arrived too late afterall. puddles are forming where just a few short years ago we were wondering if there was even frozen water.
