Three wooden crosses

A farmer and a teacher, a hooker and a preacher,
Ridin' on a midnight bus bound for Mexico.
One's headed for vacation, one for higher education,
And two of them were searchin' for lost souls.
That driver never ever saw the stop sign.
An' eighteen wheelers can't stop on a dime.

I'm not sure why, but I woke up this morning thinking about the country songs I listened to in my last year of college. I don't think I heard this Randy Travis ballad before I graduated, but it's in that loose category in my head. I started singing in the shower to remember the lyrics, and I'm not ashamed to admit I broke down crying during the second verse.
