Last weekend I happened upon an RC drift car race. I never knew this existed. I love cars, driving, racing, and drifting. Somehow I knew this was going to be my next hobby. So... here's my new car I bought used yesterday as my annual irrational birthday purchase. My car isn't set up for drifting yet, it still needs some home-made tires, a lcokable rear differential, and some suspension tuning. The car is all wheel drive and does in the 40-45 mph range. I heard the speed record for a 1:10 scale car is 130mph.
I'd recommend turning the crappy music off if you choose to watch this example of the sport. Anyone else find any of this appealing, or am I geeking out by myself here? There must be some Initial D fans among you.
1. he's my cat.
2. he likes gold lame tartare, liberace (goes without saying), and underwear drawers.
3. he can digest anything: glass, car batteries, rubberbands, numchucks, nimrods, and numnuts.
4. he likes pina coladas.
5. he was named by small children.
Jake just fell in the bathtub. I was at the computer and I heard this loud crash and he came running out and stopped and looked at me all wet and shocked looking.
As you can see from the picture, he won't look at me now because he's embarassed.
