Beyond "Pulp Fiction" and The "Unbearable Lightness of Being," are there lesser known Sam Jackson movies that have a cult following? Here's why I'm asking:
For Labor Day Weekend, I went to Omaha for the Bat Mitzvah of one of my cousins--the first of 9 or so of the new generation of our clan. By luck of the draw on the
Dundee Theater Midnight Movie schedule, I was able to continue a family tradition and take the Bat Mitzvah girl out to the Rocky Horror Picture Show that night. There's some stories and lists that may arise from all of that good, raucous, family fun, but that's not the point.
The point is, at the midnight showing, they previewed upcoming midnight movies, including Carrie, The Hunger, Trainspotting, aaannnnddddd
CHANGING LANES?????
And sure, maybe they were just rounding out the series with a movie with two big stars, but no! The entire crowd was hollering out audience participation lines during the preview! I was too stunned to write any down, but they were funny, and perfectly timed to the movie, just like any good Rocky Horror line...
So what the hell? I have googled for this phenomenon and turned up nothing. So I turn to you killoggs, I turn to you, to help me find the way.
