record and tape traders

I can breathe a little easier now. I know it doesn't seem like much but I interviewed for a managerial position. In 7+ years at that other place none of my GMs ever felt that I was management material. Supervisor material sure, but not management material. More importantly, it'll be much easier filling out lease applications if I can say I work at this place and make this much.

Our Town

I really fucking hate Thornton Wilder's classic, Our Town. What a horrible piece of garbage play.
We had to read that shitty-ass play in high school. Unfortunately, I had already seen the play performed at my friend's high school.
Anyway, we had to read it in English and I thought about how crappy of a play it actually is, and just get madder and madder as the days went by and we had to read, discuss, and do stupid homework assignments about it.
Really overall, most of the stuff we read in school was alright. I even found some of the SAT comprehension essays to be informative and engaging. Don't quote facts you learn in the SATs though! One of my earliest internet memories involves searching for one of the SAT selection's source material, and it totally didn't exist.
I was falling asleep just now and for some reason I thought about Our Town and I just had to get up, turn on my computer, and unleash the rage.
