So I'm in QDoba tonight after attending the monthly DC Film Salon meeting and I think I was the last customer they let in before closing. Luckily, they allowed us -- "us" being myself and the handful of customers that were already there -- to eat in even though they were closing up.

They have their restaurant set up (like a lot of downtown joints like this do) so that there's a set of stools and tables against the window. This is where I was sitting. So I'm sitting there, I'm eating and watching people walk up try to open the locked door, realize it's closed and walk away.

However, my most entertaining moment comes when this one kid walks up to the door, pulls it and it doesn't open. He walks over to his companion (a woman with a baby carriage) shrugs then goes BACK to the door and tries to open it again. Then he goes over to another door that is probably the store's emergency door and tries to open that one. Denied. Then he comes back to the main door AGAIN and tries to open it...AGAIN. Finally the kid gives up and they move on.

But really though, you would think that after the first attempt (I'll even spot him the second time) he'd give up. Nope, obviously those doors were just really hard to open and if he kept trying they just might open!

Stupid tourists.

today i was driving behind this guy on a motorcycle.

the back of his jacket said that he was in the "hammer and _____" motorcycle club. i wish i could remember the other word.

his jacket said he was the club president.

it also proclaimed his name to be "COCK DIESEL"
