Not Sure How to Take This

During a minor quarrel this morning, my one roommate says to the other (they are a couple) something to the effect of: "No wonder Reggie's single, you American girls are crazy!" (he's from Muritania.)

Ouch.

I'm sure he didn't MEAN it as an insult (to me at least) but it sure did sting like one. It's not like I'm single on purpose!
