so last summer I was in this dude's little 6 minute short where i got my ass handed to me (the only guy in the movie) by a bunch of girls. it was mad fun.

anyways, It was a pleasant surprise to hear that it's being shown in both the Johns Hopkins Film fest and the Maryland Film Fest (also it is supposedily in the Canne's shorts program but I wouldn't know).

anyways, for those in town, it'd be swell if you dudes can check it out. it's a good and fun movie and I'm still not sure what the movie is about.

the movie is called "Ponkutsu Park" and it'll be shown at these times:

this sunday, 6:30pm at the Shrivers Hall in Johns Hopkins, part of some shorts presentation

and May 12th at 1pm at the charles theatre

and may 13th at 9:30pm at the charles theatre.

I'm pretty stoked about this... baring my comedic actions, the movie itself is pretty fucking sweet. lots of kung fu, action, 3 different languages being spoken, and cans of beers thrown as projectiles.
