the dumbest spammers ever.

Today I got two spams on my myspace account. Both of them were:

Hello,
Please review the information below and complete your process.

I'm glad to inform you that we are accepting your application.
We are ready to give you a loan. Approval process will take 1 minute.

Click here and fill the quick form.

This is amazing retarded because IT'S NOT AN EMAIL ADDRESS! How could I even give them my myspace account for them to send this confirmation to? It just doesn't make any sense... the sad thing is, I'm sure someone fell for it.

In other news, I've decided having to park at a metered spot is like a great sort of motivator to get to work on time. My work is flexible, so I tend to sleep later and later. Last night, though, I parked at a metered spot and here I am, at work an hour early.

Last night, Kara and I watched the Bourne Identity and the Bourne Supremacy while I did a bunch of work I needed to do. Her apartment was sweltering hot. The weather is great here. Today it is cool and breezy. Last night, I slept with all my windows open.... it was nice.

I DON'T NEED THIS!

Maybe I heard this wrong, but I'm pretty sure I just heard on the news tonight that energy prices in DC are supposed to go up 72%. Can anyone confirm this for me? And how soon is this supposed to happen?

my precious money!

Supposedly, I owe the IRS about $100 this year, but everyone I've talked to tells me I shouldn't, based on how much I earn. My withholdings were incorrect for the first month of the year, but it still seems like I should get SOMETHING back. Any advice? I just don't want to pay someone to figure this out for me only to hear, "Yes, you do in fact owe $100." I'm pretty sure I don't even have enough expenses for the minimum write-off.
