"As far as my fans out there, being, and like 'help Corey,' you know, 'where's our Corey,' you know and the whole misconception.." - Corey Haim, Me, Myself, I
A) It's probably pretty good but I'm bound to be disappointed because of all the hype
B) I'll probably be as bored and/or depressed as I think I will be
and
C) I'll probably turn gay
I suppose I have no other option but to accept all of the above as potential outcomes.
But if turning gay because of seeing Brokeback Mountain is what it takes to win the big award at Julie's Oscar party this year then by gum, that's exactly what I'm gonna do. Because I will win. I will become the New England Patriots of Julie's Oscar Parties.
It's inevitable. To quote Khujo Goodie, "you can deny the lie but you can't deny the truth."
This is probably the last of the recent cavalcade of memories posts... I've been uploading images to my Flickr account while waiting for databases to download, or DNS to propigate, or whatever other server stuff I have been up too... hopefully that is just about over. Plus, I don't have a whole lot of pictures that I can upload easily- I've gone through 95% of the photos on my PC, and 95% of the photoCDs that I have. I still need to convert all the old galleries from my personal site and from killoggs. Then comes the fun of scanning old prints and negatives and stuff... wow. Anyway, enjoy.
Last night for no real reason I had insomnia. Not the fun "dig through all your old stuff, and write e-mails to friends at four a.m.," but the "for the love of jesus jumpin jackrabbit can I please PLEASE just go to sleep!!" I also remmember at some point my stomach hurting, and just adding to the excitement. Needless to say today feels very strange. Like floating in water with just a slight current. Thank god I opperate no heavy machinery to pay my bills, or I would be in serious danger of learing to do everything with one hand. It's colder and quite windly today and at some point I remember thinking,"I can feel the wind, but not the temperature. No chill, just ghostly texture." Thinking is a well placed together labor, and my attention span is nil........Everything seems so far away. Thank god I get to take a nap around three.......
