For those of you who don't already know
Dave Nada has decided to focus all his musical energy into his DJ career and a few weeks ago retired from Medic and Bison
As he has been playing in bands non stop for about ten years I can see why he would choose a different path
It is something he is passionate about and we support him in this
When he told us what was happening we were all shocked but the "What do we do now?" question was solved When Dave suggested that Paul from Bison expressed interest in joining Medic .
We practiced with Paul the next day and we are deeply in love with him He is an encyclopedia of Metal he is an awsome guy and you will get to see him play with us at the end of Jan
But the point is that our last show with Dave is tonight and Bison's last show is Dec 21st at the Ottobar

This is also just an opp to let everyone know what is going on and I know things are busy and we will go on probably after midnight and that you got lots of shopping to do etc etc etc but i just wanted to let you guys know what was up and i would want yall to know prior to the change

Summary: Dave Faraz Tem Matt Sonny and Paul = all very happy with the new arrangement as we will all get to focus on one thing cause we all are free of any multiple full/part time musical projects and can practice more often

we are recording by the end of winter and plan on having the full length out by early summer

Thank you for your time

PS we still ahve alot of Richard Pryor Shirts left from tour so If you still haven't bought your Mom or Dad something come see me and I will suit you up

Right On
XOXOXO
Sonny

Three Burials

The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada works. Understated, simple, easy to digest- watching Tommy Lee Jones manhandle Barry Pepper is a treat. All the horseriding and cowboy stuff is elegant and well-done. The plot is straightforward; Pepper (a border patrolman) kills Jones's best friend Melquaides- so Jones kidnaps Pepper to bring him back to Mexico to bury Mel.

Jones' mentality is great. Instead of the good ol' boy he played in the other movie he directed (for TNT), Jones stays stern, angry and focused. It gets a little too heavy handed when Jones forces Pepper to live Mel's life verbatim though, but that's sort of the point of the film. More modest in scope and naked ambition than most of the movies out now, but worth it.

I had a really, really good time visiting family and friends in the Phoenix area for Thanksgiving. Pics in the responses.

Hmm..

Although the spam I got today from "Intrusive Fists" might have been enticing, the one from Brandon offering "cheap drugs" seemed more appropriate to mention here.
