We're having a toy drive at work, so that children who might otherwise not get toys this Christmas, will.
Yesterday, someone dropped off a lot of used stuff, which is not really what we are looking for. As the dude in charge of the drive sorted through the stuff, he opened a bag of PC games, looked at me, and said, "You want these?" I'm not much of a gamer, but I like free stuff... so I said, "Yeah!"
(Grand Theft Auto. Nice touch, donating those two to a church's Christmas toy drive!)
Then he opened another, much larger bag. "What *is* this stuff?" Gee, it's only my favorite console EVER... and with my favorite game for that console IN THE BAG. "Ya want it?" It was hard to keep the drool in my mouth.
Then came another big bag. "Wow, this is OLD." Original NES. With 35 game cartridges. "You don't want THIS, do you?" Hahaha! Uhh, yes.
I didn't even bring them inside when I got home this afternoon. Because I know if I had, I wouldn't pack a single thing tonight.
