Git Krunk

Is this observation an accurate one:

Lots of people know how to get drunk but less know how to drink.

There is a difference isn't there?

1,2,3 everybody whine... and post a CLICHE

i would post some of my new lomo photos (i have some beauties!) but my computer is a crackhead and i just had to reinstall from the base bottom... so im back to fucking explorer as my browser and 10.0. tell me again why i use macs? last week i deleted two YEARS worth of writing, and the back up doesnt work. as a poetry major, i am rather devestated. rather.

last night i went up to fuji city to drink in a crappy bar littered with horny white fat foreign men, giggling japanese girls fresh out of high school dying to get some of that kakko ii english-speaking flesh, and the receipts for the 10 dollar drinks. i managed to squeeze one out of a brazialian man doing the tango in a 4 foot space, who introduced himself as a stallion.

now, i have watched rocky many, many times, and i am not even sure that stallone, in all his eye-cut adrian glory, could verifyably be labeled a stallion. the overweight hunk of horse flesh stood before me in a t-shirt proclaiming in jinglish "it is the nice sky calls the effervescence beneath the nature."

stallion? i think not. but he surely did have 10 bucks, and i didnt. thanks, donkey.

later on, i crashed on my friends couch. way later on, i found a way out of a bad dream at dawn to find that same friend drunkenly straddling some guy we met at the bar. silly me, id gone to sleep on the couch and missed all the action. i swuinched my eyes shut and imagined i was deaf.

people have asked me why i have become such a recluse at my moderately young age of 25. well, thats why. i no longer have an interest in meat markets, fucking strangers, staying up until dawn, or smiling when i dont fucking feel like it. if thats becoming abnormal, then i am quite content.

it was fun talking to josh. josh is rad, and if you havent realzed that, then you never will. JOSH IS RAD. i saved the beginning of the message he started on my machine ( i never, ever answer phonecalls until the person calling has declared their personage and intent) and when i play it

"holy shit, i cant believe this worked..uh..."

i smile.
thanks josh.

i want to say thanks for all the nice emails and stuff. being here right now sucks. i wish i could be more eloquent, but sucks is the correct word for living and working and hanging out with and being best friends with the person you are in love with and also who you just broke up with.

(thats a lot of withs)

i dont know how many people attempt such an irrational and incredible feat of emotional willpower, but i will promise you it is enough to drive one insane and i dont reccomend it. people keep telling me that "after the healing begins" and "once you get used to it" then it will get easier. and that i "should be happy that we remained friends."

i just gotta say that all of this is very nice and well until the 40th day you bite your tingue and smile when you dont want to. i think i said above that i hated that. i cry so much that i daydream of salt, ocean, potato chips, things saline. i have never done anything this weird, living in a space where everything looks the same and acts the same, but where every feeling is a minefield because the emotions have changed. it sucks. its almost comical. but if i leave, lots of other stuff wont work out so im stuck.

i have giant tomato plants. thay are lovely and ill be sure to take a photo.

so here's the challenge of the day.
i have decided that i will give myself a cliche for the day and try to live by it, for one day.
can anyone contribute?
tomorrows is
the grass is always greener on the other side.
what fucking tripe.
im becoming a nun.

old comics post #1

I've decided to post images of/from old comics here every once in a while. It may or may not be funny, it might just be some amazing illustration or cool cover image. However, it may be something like this:

Post Old Pictures of People on Killoggs: Part 2

After some quick searching I have found some pics I thought were worth featuring, and I didn't want everyone to have to wait on the other post to have to upload since I have so many pictures too.

they look so innocent! meredith, noah, brandon, noah's friend craig, and sam, then there's the franzia

the best summer ever, klsu kids, teresa and josh kickin' it after crawfish and beer, and blowing up random firecracker bombs

part of the formal event of 3 Strange Days at brandon's house, linus attempting to lick teresa on the dance floor, aka brandon's living room...Good Times!!

so brad shows up at sam and noah's superbowl party with a huge bag of pixie sticks and a camera to take a picture of josh and asks to use the table, "sure dude," and starts messing around with all the pixie sticks. I laughed my ass off when it was time to take the picture. i have this in my room.

If you look right in the middle of this picture you will see a guy in a yellow tshirt wearing a jacket and a pair of bunny ears, that's BEN! We are actually at his house for Mardi Gras. Meredith and I are in the front yard in the middle of the crowd looking far off somewhere. Ben is talking to KLSUer Heather Fos. Ahh yeah, pre-Endyminon-ness at Ben's. Josh is there too man, and Noah and Linus and Ed, and and yeah.

Toga Party at Heathers! Mer, a Blue and Gold coordinated Grecian beauty, and I, Cupid, because we're awesome.

saving the best for last, brandon, noah, wendee, skip, john, heahter and me...i bet dee took this picture... and meredith, i bet those are your hands behind Skip because that looks like your watch! and your hair for that matter : )

Antique Piano

I just bought this:

It's an Alphonse Cary piano made in England around the beginning of the 1900's. It plays pretty well/is pretty much in tune, but is a tuners nightmare from what I hear. I like that it looks like an organ but have no idea whether I paid too much or too little for it since I couldn't get much info on it via the web. I'm gonna put it in my bar in my house so I will have a piano bar but wonder if I will regret it later on.
