Chapter One

I think I truly was inspired by Obama's speech the other night. here's the first new anything I've written since moving to Philly. I didn't want to post it to the front page 'cause it's all long and @#$% so I put it in m'journal.

intervention

If someone quits drinking, they are proud. Not many people would call that a stupid decision or call them weak. They know that alcohol is bad for them, so they avoid it.

Why is it then, that people cannot accept someone avoiding love?
If you know that love is bad for you, and you want to avoid it, people will call you weak.
How is it weak? Its a hard thing to do, not the easy way out!
It might be a good choice for you.

I think you have a problem.
You can work through this.
That stuff is poison.

Killoggs political muscle

Foie Gras, anyone?

My friend Aaron asked me to put the call out for his fake grass roots campaign in a model congress.
(seriously, you can still play junior statesperson as a graduate student. Woo-hoo!)

One of his classes in the Syracuse Public Policy Program has him in the role of
Nancy Johnson

and he has to try to get re-elected.

You can help by emailing this guy:
mrpietz@maxwell.syr.edu
who is, get this,
the fake editor for the fake newspaper running the fake poll tomorrow on who should win the fake campaign.

Email your support for Nancy Johnson today, por favor.
Offers of bribes and model letters inside this post.

Postcards

Today I picked up the mail from the post office and received two embarrassing postcards from Craig and Arnie.

Thanks, boys. Soon I will be the talk of the town.
