yesterday.

Yesterday I booked a show at Charm City Art Space (Look Back And Laugh, Infidel Castro, Readyset, Navies). It went okay, turnout was somewhat wack due to their being another show the same day. We had to end it early because of the space closing earlier on weekdays, and I felt bad because some of the bands had to do shortened sets. That sort of sucked, but the bands were still very good.

After, I treated the bands to pizza. It was funny because we rolled on the pizzeria en masse, and stood inside for awhile. I don't think they get a lot of foot traffic normally, so the sudden influx of 4 punk rock bands and assorted crowd members must have been weird for them... they looked suprised.

After that, we rolled to "the Broasis" to see another hardcore show, Modern Life Is War. It was super fun. It was totally packed, which made sense since this show was like 1/2 a mile from my show and that definitely wasn't. The band was great, it was a lot of fun, and the place was a cool warehouse inhabited by hardcore kids, which is always cool to see. More amusingly, when we got there and asked this kid where the Broasis was, he looked at us weird and asked if we were cops. I guess we look a little old, or maybe it was my new car - definitely out of place in the neighborhood (next to the wreckage of an old mill).

After that, Joe, his friend Blake (who I called Bruce) and I went to the Talking Head to dance at this dance night. It was super fun, amazingly packed... It was ery weird going from this hardcore show to this hedonistic coke party atmosphere. It was a fun evening though, I danced with Kara and Angie and Carla and their crew, and saw some other friends.

The whole night I kept getting calls from Ben (who I was suppossed to pick up from their airport at like 12:00), saying hi sflight was delayed. Finally, at 1:30 he calls me, and we bail to go get him after only one or two more songs.

All in all, a fun night.

Just negotiating the price.

How much would you sell you body for? Considering things, I'm starting off at a ridiculous end of the year inventory drive price. I'd say that for 100,000 dollars wouldn't be turned down, and I could easily be persuaded to go below. 100,000 dollars would be the sweet spot, though, since there's very little I wouldn't do for that bank. Since you're on/reading Killoggs, you're a whore of some shade or breed, please feel free to name your price and discuss.

well, goddamn

I just got a call back from the only place in BR that services macs. My G4 Powerbook 400mhz from almost 2 years ago is in the shop. They just told me that the display needs to be replaced, cost=900$! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! for that cost, i could practically buy a new iBook. I consider myself stupid for not even realising what AppleCare was until about 1 month after I couldn't buy it anymore. Which was also about the time that I started needing it. :( If i'd known to spend the 250$ on it then, replacing my stupid fucking display would be FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!0000000 FCUK
