Penis Envy

You dudes out there have no idea how lucky you have it. I haven't seen my boyfriend since Saturday.
As tempting as it was, I couldn't really bring myself to masturbate in the bathroom at work.
And although I used to regularly for years, I couldn't do it at my parents house either.
Think unsexy thoughts. Think unsexy thoughts.
10 more hours before I get to see Chris. He'd better watch out. He's getting mauled.

FR15T P05T!!!!111!

Hola, citizens of Killoggs. The new heads have descended upon the kingdom (with the unfortunate disappearance of the almighty squid), and I have been wondering what I should write in my first post.

Should I do the ol introduce myself post? I guess that's a safe bet...

I humbly accept this new head and I will do my best to heed the laws set forth by my Killoggs forefathers. I will admit that I have only met Ben, Loren and Wil IRL, but hope to change that soon... it would be lovely to put faces to names (instead of just heads) sometime.

Your humble correspondent is a California native, although I had recently moved back from living for almost three years on the island of Oahu in Hawaii earlier this year. Crap, I miss that weather, and I never really took advantage of it because of my transformation into an ignorant working drone while there. Anyways, I'm back in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I was born and raised... although I now live in the Heart of Silly-con Valley. I've been barely maintaining my freelance graphic design business, and attending classes at a JC in Cupertino to figure out what the hell I'm going to do next. Everyone asks me what my major is, and I meekly respond with a shoulder shrug. I'm leaning more towards encouraging my career in Graphic Design, cos that's where the money is... I attended art school for a couple of years, majoring in Film, but that fell flat, with the student loans to prove it.

But that's the boring stuff. You just want to see my b00bies, don't you? Typical.

in the year 2003...

I think I accomplished an okay amount of things this year. I started a new job, paid off a decent chunk of my debt, set up ~20 punk shows, finally started my record label, released a record, made friends, went to North Dakota and generally lived life.

I've been thinking about some of my goals for next year, though. Here are some of them, in no particular order:
  • go to japan
  • set up mailchains.org
  • make at least one, but hopefully two shorts
  • start painting again
  • start seriously photographing again
  • be involved in an art show
  • finish paying off my debt
  • put out at least 4 records
  • go to california
  • visit my parents more
  • finish the script i'm working on
  • get logjamming up to snuff organizational-wise
  • make shirts, stickers and postcards (for my various projects)
  • go to garage sales with my roomates every weekend once the weather gets nice again
  • go to more shows
What does everyone else have in mind for 2003?

Thank you for riding the MTA

There may possibly be a Transit strike in NYC beginning Monday, December 16th. If this strike does happen, it's going to get alot crazier around here.

Asleep

Last night I was woken from sleep by cold water that was poured onto my stomach. As the water quickly seeped onto the bed and under my back, I yelped and opened my eyes for signs of a culprit. Only an empty glass clutched by my right hand was visible.

I told my co-worker this story, and she shared with me her experience of moving a dresser in her sleep. What was especially odd was that she had tried to move the dresser the day before, but was unable to because of the heaviness of it. But somehow, she had the strength to do it in her sleep.

What odd things have you done while you were asleep?

killoggs rookie ramblings

Six ways to make people like you (dale carnegie.. yo!)

1. Become genuinely interested in other people.
2. Smile.
3. Remember that a person's name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.
4. Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
5. Talk in terms of the other person's interests.
6. Make the other person feel important - and do it sincerely.

*Bonus* submit newspaper cut/paste ramblings and start killoggs bad poetry contest.
