i forget if any killoggs posters live there at the moment. i am going there next month for 4 days for a photo shoot. tell me about the town.

-do i need a car?
-what is cool to do/go?

You might find http://dukecityfix.com/ to be useful since they have loads of advice/information about sights, food, entertainment, etc. In general, I'd say that unless you are only staying around the downtown area, yes, you will need a car. Cool places: the Tram, petroglyphs, museums, the BioPark... As for eating, unless you want cheap college food places, I can't help you. Oh, and you definitely need a car since like many western cities they roll up the sidewalks at 5:00 and there aren't many places to walk.

Truth is you should drive up to Santa Fe and hang out there - much cooler and more funky/mountainous/greener

I was there years ago with my parents, and I remember there being a really awesome view of the city at night, at the top of a mountain. You ride a tram to get there, I guess the one Art mentioned.

he has a couple locations, a night club, a diner, and then 1-2 out of doors type ones. i could use an assistant for sure - what's your day rate?

the look for the club ones is a seedy coked up look and the others he wants something more elegant... like out in the desert, we're wearing expensive sunglasses and we're rich look at us.
