I hope that this proposal will not be an inconvenience or embarrassment to you.I must not hesitate to confide in you this simple and sincere business. My name is MARYAM , I am 22 years of age, the only daughter of late Mr and MrsKONE ADUA, from Nshili District of Gikomgoro Province in Republic of Rwanda My father before his death was a prosperous Cocoa and Gold merchant in Kigali, Republic of Rwanda before his untimely death, after his business trip to Abidjan -Cote d'Ivoire, to negotiate on a Cocoa and Gold business he wanted to invest in Abidjan -Coted'Ivoire. My mother died when I was little ,and since then my father took me so special. Before his death on 12th November 2002 he told me that he has the sum of Eight million, five hundred thousand United State Dollars.(USD$8 .500.000) deposited in a security company in Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire, that he wanted to use his fund to invest his cocoa business in Ivory Coast. After the burial of my late father i came down to Abidjan and went to the security company where the fund is deposited with all the documents regarding to the deposit of the fund that was given to me by my late father. I am just 22 years old and a university undergraduate and really don't know what to do.Now I want you to help me claim and transfer the fund for investment in your country because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant political crisis here in Ivory coast. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life. I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards.Your suggestions and ideas will be highlyregarded.
Now permit me to ask these few questions:
1. Can you honestly help me.
2. Can I completely trust you?
3. What percentage of th e total amount in question will be good for you after the money is in yourcustody.
Please,Consider this and get back to me as soon as posible.
Thank you so much and God bless you.

josh [email] said at 7:59 PM 06-25-2006: it's just that these are, what, 7 years old now? nigerian scam emails? we don't need 3 posted to the front page in one week.
jake [email] said at 8:44 PM 06-25-2006: I agree that these aren't very interesting, but I do think it's novel that we're starting to get them from the killoggs headmail.
rick [email] said at 8:59 PM 06-25-2006: But a bunch of people, including my own self, got this particular one. Shouldn't we celebrate that which brings us together, even if it is just spam after our lucre?
josh [email] said at 9:02 PM 06-25-2006: sure. feel free to respond to one of the other 3 ones of these that were posted to the front page in the last week or so.
craig [email] said at 12:45 PM 06-26-2006: I've gotten this one twice and another recently through the Killoggs mailer. I guess spamming technology has gotten better?
josh [email] said at 12:48 PM 06-26-2006: why does that mean spamming technology has gotten better? these spams are just sent by spambots, as always. depending what email service you have, these should get swept into your spam folder based on various keywords and such, just as if it was sent directly to your email.
craig [email] said at 1:49 PM 06-26-2006: I just recently started getting spams via Killoggs. I thought the mail system was set-up to make it difficult to spam, so it was my guess that spamming technology had gotten better. My e-mail address does not forward messages sent from Killoggs to my spam folder. Not that it matters that much as I have just gotten a few.
josh [email] said at 11:51 AM 06-28-2006: it's set up to not reveal your email address to spammers. but any one who fills out that form can send an email. they won't know your email address, however, like if the email address was just published.
kara [email] said at 12:02 PM 06-28-2006: I think all craig was saying is that we never received these types of spam until recently, so we assumed it was newer technology
josh [email] said at 12:05 PM 06-28-2006: yeah, i'm just giving the skinny on how it works. it was protecting you only in terms of hiding your email address, pretty much. and that it's sort of hidden since killoggs is badly organized, hurray for my bad design skills!
