a boring update.

howdy killoggs, and happy birthday. just wanted to say hello, and comment on a couple of things.

america is fucking noisy, and the news channels all say different things.

i will be in st. louis for a couple weeks, starting tomorrow. anybody know of anything fun to do besides go up the arch?

i get to go to a renassaince festival there. now THAT is wicked.

i will not ever participate in killoggs secret santa again. this is the second year in a row i have gotten jacked even as i sent out neat-o gifts. (but i love you anyway!)

i am moving to new orleans. the apartment i might get is CRUCIAL. you can come and play with me starting in june, but only if you will help me paint. not really. but please do come and play!!

my sister breckany is a big nerd.

mardi gras was kick ass. i was soooooo happy to see ben and his purty gal.

my hair is blue and tangly again.

i hope evan is not mad at me for disappearing for awhile. please tell the bike i am sorry.

i am not going to europe anymore... the trip has been postponed due to technical brain difficulties on my part.

i hope everybody has a very shiny day.

that is all.

Secret Santa did suck this year. I was dissapointed in a lot of people and won't be heading it again.

Excellent. Then, I'll head it up Secret Santa. I intend to work punitive measures in for those who willfully take advantage of the system.

Kaycee, I'm going to head secret santa, alright, god. I EARNED this. I EARNED THIS. Or maybe we could split it. Through the power of competitive giving, you know, someone might end up with a sporty new car.

Awesome, you guys head. I'll even help wreck punitive damages. Make sure Bibbly gets me again yeah?

Look. I don't need your handouts. I can do this. I earned this. Kaycee earned this. We earned this.

St. Louis is a great place, I like visiting there. There's LaClede's Landing for bars and restaurants, pretty close to the arch, riverboat cruises and dinner cruises near the arch. The Hill for really great Italian restaurants (one of the local food staples is toasted raviolis, really good).

A "concrete", or frozen custard is a really good local dessert, Ted Drewes custard stand is a very popular local hangout on a hot night.

There is lots of free stuff too, like the zoo is free, the main museum (City Museum) is free on some days, the science center is free.

There are some really great blues bars too, I found several near the baseball stadium. I went to a Cardinals game, that was fun.

There is a lot do on "The Loop", around Delmar Blvd. You can find that online.

My all-time favorite place is The Muny, it's this outdoor theater in the middle of a huge park, as sophisticated as any indoor venue. That's where they'll do the big touring Broadway shows like Beauty & the Beast. And it's real theater seating, but there are huge oaks surrounding you and a tree that grows right up around the stage. We saw Meet Me in St. Louis there (corny, but what the hell, keeps the wife happy) Amazing atmosphere for a show. Here. You can see the theater seating off to the right.

I have lots of local contacts if you want to do anything specific, let me know.

I agree. St. Louis is a fantastic city, with great shopping and a ton of historical shit to eyeball. Outside the city are some really fantastic fishing, parks, and rolling green hills. Avoid August and February.
