DIRTFARM #64: the distance between two points...

did something different this week...

sorry there was no comic last week. had a mental breakdown of sorts and decided to pull it last minute (even tho it was kinda funny). i just didn't like where it went, and couldn't figure it out in time for deadline. sucked, but that's that.

anyway, i admit this one is a little weird, but i like it...

...and it really does fold into an airplane, which kinda rules.
meredith [email] said at 11:26 AM 01-27-2006:
I like it.
denman [email] said at 12:59 PM 01-27-2006:
Hey, man, I saw this in the paper yesterday, and I think it's great. You know...it can't all be klansmen and screemin' eagles.
andrew [email] said at 1:03 PM 01-27-2006:
awesome
josh [email] said at 1:08 PM 01-27-2006:
I already told you I think it's really good, but here we go again!
brandon [email] said at 1:13 PM 01-27-2006:
I like it a lot. It ties into your Katrina cartoon. Like Denman said, you can't be suicidal seals and AIDs jokes all the time. Mixing it up like this reminds people that there's some guy sitting on the other end of their guffaws. It humanizes you to your readers.
emily [email] said at 1:40 PM 01-27-2006:
This totally makes sense to me.
craig [email] said at 3:36 PM 01-27-2006:
That is fucking genius, Ben. You never cease to amaze.
courtney [email] said at 4:46 PM 01-27-2006:
Yes.

[this is good.]

This is so good it makes me sad and happy at the same time. Kind of like the portuguese fado music... wistful
abby [email] said at 4:55 PM 01-27-2006:

Beautiful.

Seriously, posters? Just set em up at cafepress or something? Or I may go out and make some bootleg ones myself.
ed [email] said at 3:26 PM 01-28-2006:
I dunno if it was intentional or not, but the upside-down "peace" really struck me.

Also, "pain" and "pressure" made me laugh.

I love it.
jess [email] said at 3:28 PM 01-28-2006:
This is fucking wonderful. Best.
cam [email] said at 4:13 PM 01-28-2006:
