coming back, it's worth it to take the train or a cab to the first or second pickup stop. we barely squeezed on and woulda have had to wait 4 hours for the next one.
oh, and when they say they will leave your ass at the rest stop, they mean it. |
 | huddo [email] said at 11:41 AM 08-23-2005: new york city, please be careful with josh's eye. |

 | josh [email] said at 1:59 PM 08-23-2005: I'm on the new jersey commuter train to penn station. Last night was fun, rebecca smeared pizza on triac's van and blake poured honey on her. I tried to start a mosh pit, but it failed. |
 | shauna [email] said at 5:04 PM 08-23-2005: the train's the best way to go by far! fast, clean, easy, no parking. but when we checked into tix, they were $300!
the worst thing we ever tried was driving to newark (wow! that place is depressing!), paying $40 to park, and taking the train in.
driving in is it's own special hell. |

 | josh [email] said at 6:03 PM 08-23-2005: Yvonne, I don't think I have your #. Mine is posted in my profile, click my head to see it. Andrew, I don't think I have your number either because when I called, there was a spanish-speaking woman on the voicemail.
So far I have eaten good pizza, walked a lot, and seen countless beautiful women. |

I am on the chinatown bus now, it's about to leave. So far it's about half full, clean and well air conditioned, so I'm pleased. OK, we're pulling out now. |
 | myriam [email] said at 1:47 PM 08-25-2005: wait till it catches fire! |
 | ed [email] said at 5:41 PM 08-25-2005: Or Lo Pan comes and kicks your ass! |
 | josh [email] said at 1:38 PM 08-25-2005: Ok, water is leaking out of the bathroom. Any time we break it sort of rolls forward. That is pretty gross. Other than that, so far this is great. |
 | josh [email] said at 2:47 PM 08-25-2005: Okay the water dried up, I think it was just mop water. The a/c turned off for a minute but it's back on and cold as ever. I lent ben my discman and I got it back for this trip, but it doesn't seem to work, so I'm bored. Ben, if there is a trick to getting CDs to work in it, post it here. |
