myriam [email] said at 2:54 PM 06-23-2004: actually, this is something i have noticed from 5 different stores I consistently shop at recently!!! Take a look at all your receipts for the next week, I guarantee you'll find a bunch.
I went back to two of the stores and informed them, and BOTH times the guy just went, "oh that's just for the bank's use, your copy won't have it" to which I replied, "it's a CARBON COPY, whatever is on YOURS is on MINE--in fact HERE IT IS" and then the guy went, "oh." and that was it. I have been back to both place and neither has fixed the problem.
julie [email] said at 2:57 PM 06-23-2004: Myriam is right-- LOTS of places do this. I've personally worked at two such places. We finally got the last 4 digits x-ed out at one place, but only after complaints from customers.

No, it's really easy to tell the difference - if it were a real harley, the owner wouldn't be riding, he'd be pushing.
seth [email] said at 3:24 PM 06-23-2004: too bad its even, thus divisible by 2, a prime, making it not prime.
I only wish the guy was clever enough to hide a secret message by photoshopping in a fake credit card number.

Aaron said at 9:43 PM 06-23-2004: I once saw an ebay auction that was advertising homemade(and illegal) silencers made in Australia as model airplane mufflers. Probably an ATF sting though, or at least I hope it was.

dave said at 7:19 PM 06-23-2004: i'd say a rolex is pretty extravagant... although, he could have bought 201 copies of clinton's book. now that's livin' large.
