i want to know what store gives credit card receipts with the number and expiry date on it.
myriam [email] said at 2:54 PM 06-23-2004:
actually, this is something i have noticed from 5 different stores I consistently shop at recently!!! Take a look at all your receipts for the next week, I guarantee you'll find a bunch.

I went back to two of the stores and informed them, and BOTH times the guy just went, "oh that's just for the bank's use, your copy won't have it" to which I replied, "it's a CARBON COPY, whatever is on YOURS is on MINE--in fact HERE IT IS" and then the guy went, "oh." and that was it. I have been back to both place and neither has fixed the problem.

y'all start checking your receipts, seriously.

Myriam is right-- LOTS of places do this. I've personally worked at two such places. We finally got the last 4 digits x-ed out at one place, but only after complaints from customers.
meredith [email] said at 3:34 PM 06-23-2004:
Yeah, I find that a lot of smaller restaurants and bars do that commonly. I always shred those receipts.
myriam [email] said at 2:52 PM 06-23-2004:
holy shit! who wants a identity with a credit limit in the 5 digits? UP FOR GRABS!

Here's a Honda bike with Harley stickers on it, for the discriminating 40 year old man having a midlife crisis.

why dont you figure out a magic way for ppl to post and make links without typing all that stuff?
scott [email] said at 3:26 PM 06-23-2004:
With the removable, vinyl Harley decals most people can’t tell the difference between this Honda and a true Harley.

No, it's really easy to tell the difference - if it were a real harley, the owner wouldn't be riding, he'd be pushing.

4398575110707176 is an interesting number for many reasons. For example, it is the 1200th prime number.
seth [email] said at 3:24 PM 06-23-2004:
too bad its even, thus divisible by 2, a prime, making it not prime.
I only wish the guy was clever enough to hide a secret message by photoshopping in a fake credit card number.

Although I can speak enough Deutsch to not have to piss in a gutter, I have no idea how to say "How much does SHE cost?! Fark the bike!1!" in German.

wow, that's way better than mine.

I once saw an ebay auction that was advertising homemade(and illegal) silencers made in Australia as model airplane mufflers. Probably an ATF sting though, or at least I hope it was.

Did you notice he paid $4216 for the watch? He could have at least wasted his money on something large or extravagant.

i'd say a rolex is pretty extravagant... although, he could have bought 201 copies of clinton's book. now that's livin' large.

i doubt he paid that much jusT for
