in ballston, VA, on... wilson blvd I believe... as you head toward seven corners, you will pass a public park with an entrance on the left side of the street; there is a putt-putt golf course and a big public pool (with separate kiddie and diving pools!) there are lounge chairs and a view of the putt-putt course. it costs like three dollars or something.
