I am 32 years old---and have NEVER even tried pot (or any other drug besides alcohol). Pretty much a sheltered, squeeky clean life I've led so far. However, about a year ago, I wanted to see what all the "buzz" was about smoking pot. Now, I am a hard working family guy, who has a great job and family - two things that I in no way wanted to jeopardize. Soooo, what do I do?!?! Well, I went down to the local Baton Rouge State Police Office and asked if there was ANY way I could experiment with pot, under the direct supervision of law enforcement officials. I explained my situation to one of the narcotic division officers, hoping he wouldnt bust me right there for being a total idiot. I told him that I just wanted to try pot "1" time for research purposes---- and that I wanted to use it in a safe manner, where my family/job life would not be jeopardized.
First thing--- he busts out with this gut busting laugh!!! Then looks at me: "You're serious, uh?!?" "Yes", I reply---- he then continues to laugh his ass off again. After settling down, he says that he will have to make some calls---and find out which channels I would have to go through to conduct such "research". He takes my contact information and tells me that he will be back in touch with me.
About a week later, I get a call from that very same officer. "Son, if you are serious... you are gonna have to do about 5,000 pages of 'red-tape' documentation - and have the experiment regulated by an official narcotics federal officer".
I soon changed my mind----and so ends the story. Yes, I'm stupid ;)
