Stressed

Milky's post got me thinking: When is it when you feel the most stressed out? For me, it's in the morning when I wake up. It is awful. Right when I wake up my mind starts racing over the 1000 things I have to do that day at work. I'm alone with my thoughts and there is nothing there to distract me from the stress. Its enough to make me not even want to get out of bed sometimes. I can feel it in my hands and joints. They ache with the stress. There is nothing worse than waking up stressed out. Once I get into my tasks, the stress goes away, but in the morning, oh the morning, it feels like an anvil sitting on my chest. How about you?

Mornings on exam days. I get dry heaves. I feel frantic.

Any time I have a task that is deadline-oriented. I know I have plenty of time but it makes me sweat and get frantic.

I usually get stressed at 3am when I realize what a wastoid I am and what a hollow shell of a person I have become.

Opposite, when I go to bed. I have to read something engrossing to keep me from worrying about everything going on.

I used to have that problem. Fortunately, combining two chemically different OTC sleeping pills with some melatonin seems to knock that problem out. Besides, you guys have codeine OTC.

I'd have no problem sleeping in Canada.

Mornings usually equal nearly unbearable melancholy and depression (who was it that said, 'I don't feel suicidal, except in the mornings') - usually by the time I've gotten to work, it's simmered down to a restrained Kafkian angst and stifled rage, and it's generally mid-afternoon before I care enough to feel stressed.

When I'm in bed and I can't sleep and I'm lying there thinking about all the crap I didn't get done today and all the crap I've got to do tomorrow and knowing that I'm gonna forget all of it and it's gonna keep me awake tomorrow night and then...

Nevermind, I'm stressed out right now.

On a side note that I was going to post about but won't because i don't want to double post. . . you ladies suck. I mean, you never ever use the ladies club! The GC, or Gentleman's Club is always brimming with awesome conversations and topics which I will refrain to speak of because it is forbidden. Just the fact that it is forbidden to talk about it makes it awesome. What is up with that? The ladies club has so much potential that isn't being realized. Besides, if you guys don't post in there, then whats the point of my master plan to hack into it!? Come on ladies! Give me something to do with my life!
brianbibbly [email] said at 2:53 PM 05-04-2004:
There are currently 314 posts in the Ladies Club.
There are well over 1000 posts in the GC.

do we have a challenge? do we have a competition? ladies? gentleman? eh, the numeric differences are prolly due to the women getting laid more than the men, thereby reducing their need to prattle on in virtual discussions. but that's just a guess.
