I actually consider SF to be a much smaller, laidback, West Coast version of NYC:
Tons of stuff to do, progressive-thinking people, and great public transportation.
There are tons of people who either just moved here from NYC or are just about to move there from SF. |

And I am fond of the laidback though I think your laidback lifestyle may fit in better than my lifestyle. |
