Are squirrels rodents? Squirrels are cute, but they carry rabies. I caught a squirl once when I was a kid n my backyard with a net. It made the most horrific squealing sound...

Yeah, they're rodents. Some of my friends produced the squealing you are referring to by feeding peanut butter to a squirrel. I'm assuming the squirrel had a difficult time breathing with the p.b. sticking to its throat. (I was in no part involved in this experiment.)

I used to be very afraid of squirrels, after having one chase me several blocks when I was 3 years old (rabid, perhaps?). Tyler showed me the beauty of Georgy Squirrel, and I've grown past the fear.

There's also that one squirrel that waterskiis (Twiggy??). That squirrel is damned cute.
